JOINING

I don't know how well you all are acquainted with how these clubs work, but if you're like me, you've got some idea. So... Just send a note please (for a little while I'll accept comments and stuff, but in the long run it just is more convenient) theoretically with 'joining' as the title- that way i can distinguish really easy! Make it easy on a poor college kid, won't you?

SUBMITTING

Drawings, writings, and photographs that provoke thought should be submitted to this club. That's the point, eh? So, thought-provoking, well thought out, or with the theme of thought. Don't worry, we're not solely into deep stuff- if it's goofy or cartoon or whatever, it's fine. We just ask that it have thought somewhere in the equation. Anyway, if you'd like something to be submitted, just send us a note and we'll put it up! With proper credit, of course. We're hoping for thoughtful discussions in which members talk in an intelligent manner. No flaming will be tolerated! See below.

First off, be respectful. Be nice, no catfights, that kind of thing.

PLEASE, no flaming. Nobody likes it-- the artist would probably tell you to SOD OFF, and it is only a waste of your time, so why BOTHER??

As a club based around thinking, there will undoubtedly be lots of discussions here. Figure that while some will be very enlightening and scholarly and all that, some will also be silly, and probably seem entirely pointless. JUST BECAUSE WE THINK TOO MUCH DOESN'T MEAN WE'RE MATURE. *coff coff* stay on topic, dammit... My point is, feel free to say things that seem silly, just please PLEASE don't be rude to other people when you do it. I do not want any of those "ohmygod, this person sucks, and the apocalypse will kill you all because you're all braindead morons" "ohmygod, you &$&$ idiot, you're such a bitch, you hypocritical bastard, blahblahblah." Well let's think, shall we? That breaks rules one AND two, respect and flaming. So please, take it somewhere else.

ART THEFT

WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Nor will I do it. As a writer and an ...well, artist/drawer thing, whatever you want to call it-- I despise art thieves, though thankfully I haven't had to deal with them. Know that anything submitted here will be credited appropriately, and that your work is safe here. You have my solemn oath on that. *holds hand over her heart* As a deviantART club, the sanctity of your work is first and foremost for us.
